Hey all. :heart: FULL VIEW please :P :heart:

I have not been on DA for like...a couple weeks. I have been busy and things have been hectic. Maybe next journal will explain.
Also, I've had real bad artist block. Yeah, like really really bad. Finally broke that with this pic.

So even as a 2 year old I have been drawing mermaids LoL (I drew some kickass ones too when I was little)
Thought it was time for another *shrug*
She is an "ice mermaid."
If things go as planned, a "fire mermaid" may follow :P

Initial render in DAZ, 3D composition time...only bout 45 min.

Post working time in Photoshop...3-4 hours.

Hope you like her!!!!

Really nice. Though her ass seems to be huge.
And how can fire exist below the water? Even though it might look nice I personally dislike the idea of a fire mermaid

(((Adrianne!!))) Wondered where you'd gone. :P LOVE this one, hon! I've always been fascinated with mer-folk as well... although my fantasy tendencies lean more toward the fae. I'm reading Fairy Dust & the Quest for the Egg to my dd Makenna (she'll be 4 on Wednesday!!). She's inherited my love of all things Tink. She loves the part where the water-talent fairy Rani cuts off her wings to go down with the mermaids for help to save Neverland. Anyway, I digress in a big way. lol

What A3 character is that? She's gorgeous! Awesome postwork, too.... So faved, hon! :D :+fav:
